About me

I was born on 29th Sept. 1973( Libra) in a small village called Kanamangalam (about fourty miles from Madurai, India). I have an elder sister Meena and an younger sister Jothi. My father was employed at a Nuclear Power Station in Kalpakkam, TamilNadu. I grew up in Kalpakkam, a small beautiful township built by the Department of Atomic Energy, excuslively for the employees of the Nuclear Power Station and the Atomic Research Center. Most of the people in the township knew eachother. I studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya(Sadras) from my first grade till seventh, I then joined Kendriya Vidyalaya(Pudupattinam), and was there till my high school. Kalpakkam has people from all parts of India living in very friendly environment. I knew most of my friends at Kalpakkam since kindergarten. We all went to the same school and lived within walkable distance. Kalpakkam has a nice beach, lot of parks and a recreation center.

At my high school, we were introduced to a BBC Micro computer. Our high school didn't have any computer course. The computers were used only for playing games. The games were all in BASIC lanugange. We found new games in magazines and we used to type in the program from the magazine to run it. Slowly, I started programming my own games and animation. By the end of the high school, I had developed an strong interest in computer. After my high school I joined N.I. College of Engineering to do my Computer Engineering. The college is on the foot of a mountain. The mountain has water falls on it. I stayed at the college hostel. I really enjoyed my stay there. I miss the mountain climbing and taking showers in the waterfalls. Four years of hostel life was fun and was a very good experience that will last forever in my memories.

After my college, I joined National Aerospace Laboratories(NAL), Bangalore, as a Junior Research Fellow at Center for Mathematical Modeling and Computer Simulation for a short period. In 1995, I quit NAL to join Center for Development of Telematics(C-DOT), Bangalore, as a Research Engineer. At C-DOT, I was with Telecommunication Management Network(TMN) group involved in design and development of TMN systems. C-DOT provided me the best work environment and great challenges where I learnt a lot in computer and telecommunications. After working for C-DOT for three years, In 1998, I moved to US to work as a consultant with RamSoft Systems Inc. I was with them for 2 years. In year 2000, I joined Pegasus and I am still working there as a Lead Software Engineer.

Since I moved to US, I have been in Cleveland suburbe area. I have very few good friends here. On May 5th 2003, I got married to Lavanya and the Married life is going great.
